Georgia Pediatric  Program

The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid waiver program designed to provide specialized care for medically fragile children under 21 years of age

It offers in-home skilled nursing and support services to help these children receive necessary medical care at home rather than in a nursing facility.

GAPP aims to minimize hospital visits and promote a better quality of life for children with complex medical needs, allowing them to grow up surrounded by their families.

GVRA

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) provides a range of services to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, regain, and maintain employment.

Private Pay

Private pay refers to paying for services directly out of one’s own resources, without relying on insurance or government programs.

Private pay, also known as out-of-pocket payment or self-pay, occurs when an individual uses personal funds to cover the cost of services, healthcare, housing, or activities. This payment method allows individuals to have greater flexibility and choice, as they are not restricted by insurance coverage rules or government program limitations. For example, in healthcare, private pay patients can select any provider or service they prefer, including elective procedures or specialized care not covered by insurance.

Long Term Care Insurance

Longterm care insurance is a type of insurance that helps cover the costs of personal and custodial care for individuals who are unable to perform daily activities independently, either at home or in a care facility.

Longterm care insurance (LTC or LTCI) is designed to cover services that traditional health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid typically do not, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, continence, transferring, and walking. It provides financial support for individuals who need help due to chronic illness, disability, or cognitive decline, regardless of age.
